Waterjet Cutting Metals and Other Materials

There are many reasons why waterjet cutting has rapidly grown in popularity since the mid-1990’s. The main reason however is versatility. Because of it’s versatility we can cut a wide variety of materials in a range of thicknesses.

We create a wide variety of parts without breaking the bank. Another advantage of waterjet cutting is the fact that thicker materials can be cut with greater accuracy and also with a cleaner edge. Additionally there is no heat affected zone. Waterjet cutting does not heat your material. As a result there is no thermal distortion, which can occur with lasers. In conclusion waterjets do not change the properties of the material but delivers a clean edge without distortion.

Flow Waterjet Machining Centre

We acquired the Flow Waterjet Machining center to enhance our product offering and capabilities. For a full list of materials, see the table below. The most frequently requested materials are metals such as brass, coppper or thicker steel. Other materials such as stone, glass, rubber and various hard materials are also available.

Our Waterjet system is capable of cutting highly intricate and accurate parts resulting in an impressive end product with clean edges and a professionally finished look.
